I am a Retired Chief Scientist, I joined the Research center in June 1984 after completing my M. Tech degree in Structural Engineering from IIT, Kharagpur. I had worked on Optimum Design of Tall Buildings and Towers subjected to Earthquake and Wind loads, Vibration Control devices such as MR Dampers, Viscous Fluid Dampers, Friction Dampers, and Semi-Active Tuned Mass Dampers, also published more than 80 papers in National and International Journals and conferences. I played a key role in developing a computational facility for scientific and engineering applications.
