This led them to create a confidential discovery platform (now has a network of 1,50,000+ professionals) that connects businesses seeking to sell or raise funds with potential investors/buyers, effectively addressing a critical gap in the market.
As a co-founder and CEO of IBGrid, established in 2016, Bhavin expanded his vision to provide a comprehensive investment banking solution in 120 days tailored for Indian companies. IBGrid combines technology with human expertise to facilitate M&A transactions and fundraising efforts efficiently, aiming to complete deals in a matter of months. His active involvement as President of TiE Ahmedabad and as an Executive Committee Member of the AIC-LMCP Foundation further underscores his dedication to nurturing entrepreneurship and innovation within the community.
Haripriya (Priya) Bhagat
Priya’s professional journey spans over 20+ years, marked by a deep commitment to empowering small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in India. As the Co-Founder of IndiaBizForSale and IBGrid, she has dedicated her career to transforming the landscape of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) for SMEs through technology. She began her career in India at BillDesk (a Fintech Unicorn) and later gained more than 10+ years of experience in the UK; working with prominent firms such as Nestor Healthcare, Halcrow Group, and SUEZ UK. Her diverse background in finance, technology and operations has equipped her with the skills to navigate complex business challenges.
In 2013, she co-founded IndiaBizForSale along with Bhavin S. Bhagat; driven by a passion for helping businesses find growth opportunities through strategic partnerships and funding. The platform has since grown to connect 150,000+ businesses and investors, providing a marketplace to buy, sell and fund businesses. In 2016, she expanded her vision by co-founding IBGrid, an innovative investment banking solution designed to streamline M&A transactions within a 120-day timeframe. She holds an MSc in International Finance from Middlesex University and is ACCA (UK) qualified.
