Case Details: An acquisition mandate (with partial/complete first stage buy) of manufacturing API (medicines and/or cosmetics) firms looking at 100% sellout or majority divestiture of freehold businesses that are typically not in growth stage, are about 10-20+ years old, quality manufacturing setup of vitamins & nutrient supplements (any IPs/patents), skin care/ cosmetic products (lotions, face gels etc.), with turnovers of 50Cr+ on as is basis. Asset reductions not acceptable as cashflows shall be regularized at the time of valuations.
Investment Description: A major US (Florida based)/ South Asian PE/IM with AUM of over USD150mn and USD800mn respectively, with a portfolio of about 100+ firms to emerging markets, are looking for buyouts of ARC cases/stressed assets/freehold that are in the permitted domains viz. API manufacturing and/or contract manufacturers Tier 1 only, suppliers to major OEMs (like Lò Real etc.) or branded manufacturers established supply and distribution setup globally/locally.
