This mill was started in 2008 and purchased by the current promoters in 2015. Their factory is located almost 12km from Mumbai-Bangalore Highway. It is 90 km from Kolhapur in a D+ Zone and hence receives various subsidies by Central and State Governments which includes sales tax subsidy, income subsidy, power tariff subsidy, electricity duty exemption, technology upgradation etc.
They have specialist expertise in the manufacturing and wholesale supply of Duplex Board and Craft Paper of various different specifications. They have some well-known government and private organizations as their clients. Their major clients include LIC, Newspaper agencies, Nationalised Banks, and Educational Departments. The raw materials are easily available from Goa, Bangalore, and Belgaum due to less competition in this area. The plant has a capacity to manufacture 40 Tone of Craft paper and duplex board of 100-400 GSM. There is no shortage of water due to proximity to Tamraparni river.The existing unit is situated in an area of 3 acres and also has additional land of 22 acres.Thus there is a huge scope for expansion. As there are no major industries in the vicinity, the labor availability is good.Additional electricity can be easily available.
The promoters have an experience of more than 35 years in this industry. The revenue of the last year is INR 11.8Cr with a gross profit of INR 1.7 Cr. Since the promoters are looking for expansion of business they need an investment partner. They are looking for an investment up to INR 10Cr.
