Other Details
Synthetic fuels, or "synfuels," are alternative fuels made from sources other than crude oil. The most common types include synthetic gasoline, diesel, and compressed natural gas (CNG). Synthetic petrol is made by converting natural gas or coal into liquid fuel using gas-to-liquids or coal-to-liquids processes. Synthetic diesel is produced using biomass or municipal solid waste as a feedstock. CNG is made by compressing natural gas.
Synthetic fuels offer benefits such as reducing dependence on crude oil, having higher energy density, and emitting fewer pollutants. However, they are generally more expensive to produce and require significant energy and water resources, which can harm the environment. While synthetic fuels have potential to reduce emissions and dependence on crude oil, their commercial viability is limited by high production costs.
Typical gasoline-powered vehicles have a fuel efficiency rating of approximately 40 kilometers per liter. However, our synthetic petrol, which is derived from alternative sources, has a significantly improved fuel efficiency rating of 47 kilometers per liter. This means that vehicles using our synthetic petrol can travel a longer distance on the same amount of fuel compared to conventional gasoline.
