Considering the most common Motorcycle Chain 428 is used in over 65 types of motorcycles produced by different manufacturers like Honda, Hero, Bajaj, TVS & Suzuki, etc. Over 300 lakhs Motorcycles per annum equipped with this chain are produced by these Manufacturers. The estimated Chain life is approx. 30000 km. In motorcycle. The additional requirement of replacement market much bigger than motorcycle producers. For your information, Rockman – A hero group Unit, has already produced a capacity of 60000 chains a day, besides the DID, LGB & TIDC’s capacity chain plants in south. Still, a huge number of the chains are imported to fulfill the gap between the demand & supply of 428, 428H, 08B & 420, etc. The other chains in reference (420, 428H) mentioned can be produced with a small change in tooling and input raw material, with the same machinery.
